I’m grateful for the impact positive thinking has on my friends and role models as well as in my own life.
That’s why I’m embarrassed to admit that I had a really tough time looking at the "bright side" over the past few months. For weeks I let the fear and uncertainty of our time “in” and ignored the important life lessons learned over the years.
That’s when THE Kevin Hart swooped in with some much needed encouragement. Over the last week he’s spent nearly six hours with me sharing his “golden nuggets” to help overcome today’s BS and achieve tomorrow’s success. What an incredible hang it has been!
Actually, I only saw Kevin in person once. He popped into a jam session at an Atlanta jazz club across the street from the comedy club where he had just finished performing one night.
Truth be told, he doesn’t know me at all. But I feel as if I really know him…
You see, our recent hang came via his new Audible Original audiobook called “The Decision.”
You should totally hang with him too. Kevin’s advice is priceless and his delivery is hysterical! The Decision is packed with his “golden knowledge nuggets” (you’ll have to listen to hear where they come from) so I won’t attempt go into detail, but here are a few big takeaways:
* Life is a constant series of decisions
* We should be like water: allow, adapt, and keep on moving
* Mindset is Everything!
Kevin emphasizes that controlling our own mindset is the key to happiness and success and he shares specific strategies on exactly how to take control. You’ve got to hear it…
Warning!!!! DO NOT listen with young kids in the room. He’s not afraid to drop the “F bomb” (many times)…
*Here’s a link where you can get it FREE if you’re new to Audible. It’ll cost current members just one credit.
Enjoy!
